To be clear, no lesbians are interested in Jim, but somehow Jim often becomes interested in lesbians.

Here's the chaser post for this one!

I'm not even super clear on what first base is. Kissing? Touching plates?

Here's the chaser post for it! By the way, unless something disastrous has happened in the last week, the second half of my graphic novel Elephant Town should be starting on Patreon today!

If you haven't started reading Elephant Town yet, it's a love letter to my hometown of Shepherdstown, following four different characters who don't know each other but can hear each other through the walls of their apartments.

The first half is free to read right here (chapters are posted in reverse order; just scroll down to Chapter One). I'll be posting new pages as I make them every Monday for $3 or $5 a month (it's 5% off if you buy an annual membership instead of monthly!). $5/month gets figure drawings and process posts in addition to everything else, plus 50% off all original art sales.

If you sign up for the  $2/month tier this week, you'll be locked into that cheaper rate and still get everything that's at the $3 level.

Okay I think that's all the promotional talk for now. Also I don't begrudge anyone who wants to wait til the physical book is out in a few years! This is just for people who want to take part in the production of Elephant Town, and occasionally make  decisions about what happens to the characters along the way. :) Either way, I hope you like it! It's a different beast than GWS for sure, but... well, Kris is basically Hazel, so if you need to scratch that itch, I hope it sates you!

HOLD THE PHONE, did we really get THIS far into GWS before this character was introduced?!

I suppose we did...

Here's the chaser!

Do we ever see Robyn and Selena the Kitten in GWS again? Makes me wanna do an All New Issues mini fan spin-off...

Jameson and Chris could just have their own little gossip club together. Zach could use a car buddy. Jim... I don't know what Jim needs.

Here's the chaser post!

Nobody notices, but Darren slowly walks off-panel when this becomes the topic of conversation.

Exactly THREE KISSES. Chris was counting.

Here's the chaser post!

I appreciate Jim's non-judgmental inquisitive request for more information re: Robyn's beer-hands.

Here's the chaser post!

Aw man, JIM! I forgot about Jim. Everyone forgot about Jim...

"I'll tell your mom" would still work on me in 9/10 situations like this one, too.

Here's the chaser post!

I just had to look up Farmville to figure out what its connection to Facebook was. Imagine someone digging up this comic in twenty years if anything still exists then.

Here's the chaser!

She hasn't even taken a sip of that drink yet.

I know I have the sense of humor of a teenager but I still think this comic is funny as hell.

Here's the chaser!

Imagine someone waiting for you at your favorite non-home place, and finding you immediately.

As if Jamie would've protested a box full of kittens.

Here's the chaser strip!

Puddin' cats' gooey attributes do not apply to puddin' cat accessories.

I still can't remember all the kittens' (non-Hazel) names, but I finally hit up Dani and Bill from All New Issues (RIP) to confirm that they named the kitten they adopted in their comic Selina (spoilers, sorry!). They've had an IRL calico named Selina for over 15 years, named after the fictional comic kitten!

So we've got Woobie, Special K, and Selina - does anyone remember the fourth kitten's name and who it went to? WAS 2010 REALLY TAHT LONG AGO??

I'd love to hear your own "pet's terrible first name" before you adopted/bought them and gave them a better (or maybe, worse) name all your own!

And here's the chaser!

The official International Cat Association description for this breed.

You see, Jameson has read all of Candy's poetry.

Sometimes you can tell I came up with a strip a few hours before it was posted.

Here's the chaser post for it!

They're wearing different shirts than the day she quit, so at least it's tomorrow now, but still, DAMN. That must've been a FAST phone call!
